Every technician joins our team with a minimum of two years of industry experience, then completes a two-month, in-house hands-on training program under our founder, Alan Bell supervised by a Red Seal Certified Locksmith. Copying a high-frequency fob or programming a garage remote wrong means a system that doesn’t talk to your building our technicians are trained to get it right the first time.
Every fob and remote we duplicate has a real, published price before you even walk in no vague “it depends” until you’re standing at the counter. Most copies take 1 to 5 minutes, done on the spot in our Richmond shop.
We copy fobs and remotes for 5 to 10 buildings a week — a mix of individual condo owners, strata councils, and property managers across Richmond and Vancouver. That steady volume means we’ve likely already worked with a system like yours, whether it’s Keyscan, ICT, or HID.
Some high-security fobs are encrypted or restricted at a system level, and there’s no way to tell just by looking at one whether it can be duplicated. Rather than guess, we check it in the system first so you’re not paying for an attempt that was never going to work.

A standard fob copy is $45.00, with buy-two-get-one-free pricing. If you need several, our 5-fob and 10-fob packs bring the per-fob cost down significantly.
Most standard fobs and remotes are copied in 1 to 5 minutes. High-frequency MIFARE fobs take about 10 minutes since they’re copied to a genuine, upgraded RFID chip, not a cheap clone.
It’s an encrypted digital copy of your fob’s data, stored securely if you lose your physical fob later, we can produce a new one without you paying full replacement cost again. It’s $6.50 and covered by a lifetime warranty.
